Born and raised in the Bay Area, Gabrielle Rivera is an interdisciplinary artist working mainly in film photography. She uses photography to capture intimate moments that often go unnoticed.The use of portraiture creates an emotional connection between the artist, model, and audience. Using the camera as a medium, she is able to explore the themes of mortality, coming of age, the minority experience, and more.
Gabrielle received her Associate for Transfer degree in Art History from Foothill College and is currently studying Art Practice at the University of California, Berkeley.
